Code & Safety Enforcement Coordinator

The Code and Safety Enforcement Coordinator (CSEC) is responsible for conducting field inspections and special investigations to ensure compliance with various municipal ordinances. Coordinates inspections of buildings requiring joint inspection with other public agencies such as health department, building department, sheriff’s department and other appropriate agencies. Assists in development or revision of current zoning ordinances. Receives and responds to complaints of alleged violations of local zoning code and advises owner or others in violation of the zoning code. Oversees the cadet program, manages and supervises the crossing guard program and coordinates neighborhood watch programs with the sheriff’s department.
