Sheriff Dennis Kocken takes pleasure in commending
Deputy Daniel Sandberg

Deputy Daniel Sandberg distinguished himself with sustained superior performance and professional excellence in his duties.  His conscientiousness and tireless work ethic has earned him a reputation as someone who always gets the job done in an exemplary manner.

While assigned to the Village of Allouez, serving as their Directed Enforcement Officer, maintained a high level of performance while taking on additional duties in the Village of Allouez without complaint or additional pay.  Notwithstanding Deputy Sandberg serves the Emergency Response Unit as its assistant team leader and trainer, as well a Use of Force Instructor.  In 2009 he wrote 292 citations, 96 warnings, 14 warrant arrests, 21 state charge arrests and 3 drug arrests.

For his role in supporting the Agency's mission of public safety through pro-active, efficient, and professional law enforcement services he shall be recognized with the Officer of the Year Award.


Life Saving Award

Deputy Todd Campbell
With the Lifesaving Award for service set forth in the following:

On September 26th, 2009 Deputy Todd Campbell responded to a rescue call of a 91 year old man who had from an apparent heart attack, was without a pulse and not breathing.  Deputy Campbell quickly reacted and began Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation to sufficiently revive and stabilize him until rescue personnel arrived.

For his efforts in applying appropriate and lifesaving measures shall be recognized with the lifesaving award for actions in sustaining the life of a citizen of our community.  Through this outstanding achievement, Deputy Campbell shall be presented with the Life Saving Award.
