A 2.7 mile (one-way) nature & fitness trail that borders the East River in Allouez is available for nature lovers, walkers, joggers, bicyclists, cross country skiers & fishing enthusiasts.  The trail is groomed for cross country skiing during the winter months.  The trail starts east of the Green Isle tennis courts & follows the East River south to the Village limits at Le Brun Road.  Dogs are allowed on this trail only.  Dogs must be on a 6' leash at all times; no extended leashes allowed; dogs are not allowed in the park; please have control of your animal at all times.

NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED.

WIESE FAMILY PARK
We have a new Park which opened on November 1, 2005.  The Park is named after the Wiese Family, which owned and farmed the property.  It is named in memory of Wilfred and Mary Wiese.  The Wiese Family Park area encompasses approximately 29 acres and features:

• 6 acre recreation area (three soccer fields
• 28-foot hexagon shelter (sorry, no electricity or running water)
• 48-car parking lot
• 1/4 mile paved extension of Resch Family - East River Trail
• Prairie grass restroation (16 acres)
• 3/4 mile crushed stone trail along East River through the restored prairie
• Fishing pier along crushed stone trail
