Bulk Waste Pick-Up:

2019 Bulk Pick Up Calendar

2020 Bulk Pick Up Calendar

Large trash items, up to two (2) cubic yards, that won’t fit in your garbage cart will be picked up at no charge ON YOUR GARBAGE DAY Monday through Thursday the first full week of most months. Click here to view the 2020 Bulk Pick-up Calendar.  The schedule is also posted in the All About Allouez booklet.

Do not place trash / junk at the curb during non-pickup weeks. Violators will be given a forty-eight (48) hour notice to remove trash / junk from the curb and if not removed the Village will pick it up at a charge. The minimum pick-up charge during a non-collection week is two-hundred dollars ($200). If the amount of trash / junk is more than two (2) cubic yards, there is an additional charge for the larger volume and it will be billed to the resident.

A patron may request bulk waste collection during a non-collection week, such as a renter move-out, but collection is subject to the pickup charges as defined in Chapter 225, Fees and Charges, of the Village Code.

Bulk waste includes:
– mattresses
– furniture
– sinks
– wood less than four (4) feet in length

**Non-collectible items include fluorescent light ballasts and lamps, mercury lamps, cardboard, gas grill propane tanks, lead acid batteries, computers, microwaves, televisions, electronic equipment, tires, construction debris from remodeling, concrete and bricks. These items must be disposed of by the resident at the Brown County Solid Waste Transfer Station (construction debris, tires, appliances, and batteries), the Brown County Recycling Center Household Hazardous Waste Facility (electronic items, paint).

The Village DOES NOT pick up any gas powered equipment and nor can any gas powered equipment be dropped off at the LeBrun site.

Electronic equipment, radios, microwaves, computers and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, etc) may be taken to the Village of Allouez LeBrun Yard Waste Site for drop-off at no charge except for the following items that require a fee:

Monitors – $10.00
TV’s – $15.00
Flat Panel TV’s – $15.00

Brush Pick-Up:

2019 Brush Pick Up Calendar

2020 Brush Pick Up Calendar

Brush (branches/twigs) is picked up Monday through Thursday the second full week of most months ON YOUR GARBAGE DAY. Refer to the Brush Collection Schedule above for the exact collection week. Brush is NOT collected during November due to fall cleanup; and NOT in February, April, and December. Residents are encouraged to trim trees during May through August.Brush should be placed at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your garbage collection day or the night before.

– Brush must not exceed 8’ in length and/or 6’ in depth
– Brush must be parallel to the curb (not in the street)
– Brush must be 4’ away from any structure (mailbox, trees, cars, etc.)
– Brush cannot be commingled with loose leaves, grass or garden waste.

Brush is hauled to the Le Brun Yard Waste Site where it is chipped for use in Village playgrounds and tree planting. The chips are also made available to our residents. In order to do this, only “clean” brush that does not contain loose leaves, grass or garden waste can be used. Co-mingled brush needs to be disposed of resulting in additional hauling and disposal fees. The correct placement of the brush allows for an efficient and safe collection process.  Your help in making this process work smoothly is greatly appreciated!

Correct Brush placement:

Brush may be taken to the Village Yard Waste Site on Le Brun Street during the regular operating hours. See the Le Brun Yard Waste Site Operation Schedule below or in All About Allouez booklet.

Have you ever wondered what happens to your tree trimmings after they are picked up by the Village of Allouez?  Wonder no more! Below is a short video outlining the journey your brush makes to be properly recycled and reused within our community.
