City of DePere – Village of Allouez
Schedule: May 23^rd to August 5^th, 2016.
Length: 3.2 Miles
Cost: $1.6 million
Location: STH 57 from Randall Avenue  to  Grignon Street

Description of project: This project is the mill, underseal and overlay of STH 57 (Riverside Drive).  The project also includes the repair of inlets, signing and pavement marking.

May 23 – May 27:
Traffic control drums and signs being placed to delineate the work zone.  Sawing operations will begin on the sideroads and inlet repair locations.  Inlets along the southbound outside lane will be repaired from Lazarre Ave to Grignon St.

May 31 – June 4:
Milling, undersealing and asphalt paving operations will begin for the southbound lanes of STH 57.  Both SB STH 57 lanes are projected to be paved from Grignon St to Lazarre Ave. by the end of the day Saturday June 4^th.

Traffic Impacts:
Southbound STH 57 outside lane is closed from Grignon St. to Lazarre Ave. until both southbound lanes of STH 57 are paved.

The week of May 31^st during non peak hours (9 AM to 4 PM) northbound traffic between STH 172 and Grignon St. will be reduced to one lane and southbound traffic will be shifted over to the northbound side of STH 57 to complete work operations on both southbound lanes.  Southbound traffic will be driving on the milled or chip sealed pavement for portions of this stage.

Hauling restrictions will be in place for STH 57 starting at 12:00 PM on Friday May 27^th until 6:00 PM Tuesday May 31^st for the Memorial Day holiday.  No work on STH 57 will occur during this time period.

Note:  A business meeting is scheduled for Tuesday May 31^st at 2:00 PM at the Allouez Village Hall.

May 16 – May 20: Message boards being placed in advance of the construction zone.  Construction surveying activities will also be occurring along the corridor.

May 23 – May 27: Traffic control drums and signs being placed to delineate the work zone.  Sawing operations will begin on the sideroads and inlet repair locations.  Inlets along the southbound outside lane will be repaired from Lazarre Ave to Grignon St.

Traffic Impacts: North and southbound STH 57 traffic will remain in existing lanes with no restrictions for the week of May 16^th.  Lane closures and restrictions are expected to begin the week of May 23^rd.

Hauling restrictions will be in place for STH 57 starting at 12:00 PM on Friday May 27^th for the Memorial Day holiday.
