Park Maintenance Seasonal Laborer

The Village of Allouez Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department is accepting applications for seasonal parks maintenance positions for the summer season.  The Department is looking for individuals that have a passion for the outdoors and willing to put in the extra effort to make the Village’s parklands and athletic facilities top notch.

This seasonal work is from May through September with a flexible working schedule to accommodate the needs of the Department.  The typical work week is a ten hour day, four days per week up to 40 hours.  Working responsibilities encompass all aspects of park maintenance, facility cleaning, and athletic field preparations under a variety of weather conditions.  Our starting wage is $8.60 per hour for first year employees with the ability to garner annual increases for returning team members.

If you are at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and have a great work ethic, we would like to add you to our team for this summer. Application deadline is April 1.

Tennis Instructor

Instructs youth tennis lessons for participants ages 7 to 15 years of age. Lessons are held at Green Isle Park.   Interact with participants and parents/guardians.  Provide positive and corrective feedback to participants and a positive learning environment for all.   Knowledge of and experience playing tennis is required.  Prior lesson instruction is preferred.  Preferred athletic experience as a JV or higher competition level in tennis.  Applicants must have a desire to work with and instruct youth.
Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday mornings 8am-11am. Hours may vary depending upon program enrollment.    Lessons begin the 2nd week of June and run through mid-August.  Applications are being accepted until the position is filled.  Applications will begin to be reviewed on Monday, February 23, 2015.

Recreation Summer Parkie – start date of June 2015

Recreation Summer Parkie Position Description

Substitute Crossing Guards Needed

The Village of Allouez is looking for substitute school crossing guards to work morning and/or afternoon shifts starting next school year (2014-2015).  Starting wage is $11.00/hr. Adult Education
